Speed control, not just starting. On a pump or fan it is usually the cheapest thing on the site in running cost.

VFD Panel
On a centrifugal load, power follows the cube of speed. Running a fan at 80% speed uses roughly half the energy — which is why a VFD on an oversized pump usually pays back faster than any other electrical measure on a site.
Budget for the cooling and the cable. A VFD dissipates around 3% of its rating as heat inside the panel, and it needs screened motor cable with a 360° gland to keep the switching noise off everything else.
Get a harmonic study on anything above about 100 kW or where several drives share a bus. The mitigation — reactor, passive filter or active front end — is a design decision, not an accessory.
The assembly is ours; the switchgear inside it is genuine, authorised-channel product from the makes you specify.
Built to the same standard, and able to share a lineup with this one.

A drawing, a load list or a BOQ is enough to start. You'll get the ratings checked against the actual fault level, a general-arrangement drawing to approve, and a fixed price.
