Specifying this panel
Synchronising is built to the specification and the drawing, on one bus, taking every parameter into account — the point is trouble-free changeover and clean communication between sets, not just closing a breaker.
A set is only allowed onto the bus when voltage, frequency and phase angle are all inside the check-sync window. Closing outside it puts a torque step through the coupling that the alternator does not survive twice.
Load sharing is by kW and kVAr independently. Sharing real power but not reactive power is what leaves one set running hot while the others idle.
