Nine unmanned pumping stations brought under one telemetry system, with variable-speed drives that cut pumping energy by more than a quarter.

Nine stations were dispersed across an industrial estate with no monitoring — failures were only discovered when an overflow was reported, after the environmental damage had happened.
Pumps ran fixed-speed against throttled valves, the least efficient way to move liquid, and it was costing the operator continuously.
The atmosphere at several wet wells contained hydrogen sulphide, which had already corroded two control panels beyond repair.
We supplied and installed telemetry hardware at every station so pump status, level, flow and supply condition now report over cellular with store-and-forward buffering — alarms reach the depot before a level becomes an overflow.
Primary transfer pumps were fitted with variable-speed drives matched to the real duty; because power follows the cube of speed on centrifugal duty, a modest speed reduction produced a disproportionate energy saving.
Control product at the affected wet wells was supplied in corrosion-rated enclosures with anti-condensation heating and sealed gland plates.
